Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang praised the Sikkim Police during the Integrated Cultural Programme held at the 3rd IRBn camp in Manglay to celebrate 50 years of Sikkim’s statehood. Speaking in the presence of former Governor Shri Ganga Prasad Ji, the CM highlighted the bravery and dedication of the police personnel.
He expressed appreciation for the jawans who showed not only their valour but also their vibrant cultural talents through singing, dancing, and other performances. “It was truly a heartwarming experience to witness a different, vibrant side of our brave jawans,” said CM Tamang.
The event brought together police officers and community members to celebrate the state’s milestone with culture and courage hand-in-hand. The Chief Minister extended his congratulations to the Director General of Police, senior officers, and every jawan for their selfless service and resilience.
As Sikkim marks this historic occasion, CM Tamang wished the entire police family continued success, good health, and happiness. “May your spirits always remain as high as your sense of duty,” he added.
