We support our youth to become job creators, says CM Tamang on World Entrepreneurs’ Day

On the occasion of World Entrepreneurs’ Day, Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang extended his best wishes to all entrepreneurs, highlighting the importance of innovation and enterprise in driving progress. Speaking from the State capital, the Chief Minister said, “This day celebrates the spirit of innovation and enterprise that drives progress. Our Government has been committed to nurturing entrepreneurship through several initiatives.”

Shri Tamang emphasized that the state government has been taking several steps to support young entrepreneurs, particularly in agriculture, dairy, animal husbandry, and allied sectors. With a growing interest among the youth in these areas, the government has introduced various incentives and loan schemes to encourage new ventures.

“Our youth are the backbone of Sikkim’s development. By supporting their entrepreneurial ambitions, we aim to create a generation of self-reliant job creators who will contribute to the growth and prosperity of our State,” the Chief Minister added.

Over the past few years, Sikkim has witnessed a rise in youth-driven enterprises, especially in agriculture and allied fields. The government’s support includes financial aid, training programs, and market access, which have helped many young entrepreneurs turn their ideas into successful businesses.
