Two men caught with drugs in Yangang; case registered under NDPS act

The Namchi District Police intercepted two individuals at Menglee, Yangang, and recovered controlled substances from their possession. Acting on reliable source information, a team of police personnel carried out a targeted interception, which led to the detention of two men — Yogesh Rai and Indra Kr Limboo — both residents of the area.
According to police sources, the two were found in possession of 7.51 grams of controlled substances, suspected to be contraband under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The substances were allegedly found concealed on their bodies during a routine frisking operation.
Following the seizure, the Yangang Police Station registered a formal case under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act. The duo has been taken into custody for further questioning, and the substances have been sent for laboratory testing to confirm their exact nature.
