The Trishakti Corps has taken the lead in advanced sniper training. The special training program aims to prepare soldiers for the most difficult and dangerous missions by improving their marksmanship, patience, and stealth skills.
The initiative is part of the Army’s broader mission to create soldiers who are ready for modern warfare, which demands more than just physical strength. Today’s battlefield also requires sharp focus, quick decisions, and the ability to operate silently behind enemy lines. Snipers play a key role in this kind of warfare.
Under this training, selected soldiers are being taught to hit targets with deadly accuracy — following the motto "One Shot, One Kill." The training includes advanced shooting techniques, camouflage methods, movement without detection, and surviving alone in extreme environments. Soldiers are also taught how to make the best use of terrain and weather to their advantage.
