The Namchi District Police, under the leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Karma Gyamtso Bhutia, has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory ahead of the much-anticipated opening ceremony of the Sikkim Premier League (SPL) Season 3 at Bhaichung Stadium on April 10, 2025.

In an effort to ensure smooth conduct of the event and safety of all participants and visitors, a series of traffic restrictions and parking arrangements will be enforced between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM on the day of the event.

As per the advisory, movement of heavy vehicles will be strictly prohibited on all major routes leading to Namchi Town during the designated hours. These include:

Chisopani (Jorethang) to Namchi Town

- Sikkip to Namchi Town

- Dhamthang Town to Namchi Town

- Kitam Phatak to Namchi Town

- Namthang to Namchi Town

Police have also outlined detailed parking arrangements to streamline traffic flow around the venue. All flag-bearing vehicles will be allowed entry inside the main gate of the stadium. Vehicles belonging to Chairmen, Advisors, and Heads of Departments (HoDs) will be parked at the Town Hall. Match officials have been directed to use the SAI Complex for parking. Meanwhile, members of the general public are advised to park along the roadside towards the Namchi Helipad, ensuring their vehicles are aligned on the left side of the road facing the stadium for easy exit.
