The sacred Tendong Lho Rum Faat, a revered festival of the Lepcha community, will be marked with week-long celebrations from August 3 to August 8, culminating in a grand finale attended by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang as the Chief Guest. This announcement was made by Pintso Namgyal Lepcha, Hon’ble Minister and Chairman of the Tendong Lho Celebration Committee 2025, during a press conference held today.
“Tendong Lho Rum Faat is not just a cultural festival; it is a spiritual tribute to Mount Tendong and the ancestral roots of the Lepcha people,” said Minister Lepcha.
