SKM condemns Pahalgam terror attack, extends deepest condolences

The Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in the Baisaran meadows of Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, which claimed the lives of at least 26 innocent civilians, including two foreign tourists, on April 22, 2025. In a statement issued by the party, SKM expressed profound sorrow and extended its deepest condolences to the families of the victims.
Party President and Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Prem Singh Tamang Golay, conveyed his shock and heartfelt sympathy over the tragic loss. “I am deeply shocked and saddened by the brutal terror attack that claimed innocent lives and injured many. Such heinous acts must be condemned unequivocally. On behalf of the people of Sikkim, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the swift recovery of the injured. We stand in solidarity with them during this tragic time and pray for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace,” said CM Tamang.

The party called for decisive action against terrorism and appealed to all citizens to come together in this moment of mourning, reinforcing the collective spirit of India.
