Six young Boxers from Sikkim reach finals of Bhutan Boxing Cup

In a proud moment for Sikkim and India, six young boxers from the state have made it to the finals of the prestigious 4-Nation Bhutan Boxing Cup being held in Thimphu. Their remarkable performance has caught the attention of sports lovers across the region and is a shining example of how Sikkim's youth are making their mark on the international stage.
The tournament, which features talented boxers from four countries, has seen tough competition in every weight category. However, the Sikkimese boxers have stood strong with their discipline, courage, and skills, earning their places in the final bouts.
The six boxers representing Sikkim in the finals are:
Pema Ongmu Bhutia – Women’s 66 kg
Yasika Rai – Women’s 48 kg
Ashwani Kumari Sapkota – Women’s 57 kg
Pravin Chettri – Men’s 63 kg
Krishan Kumar Rai – Men’s 51 kg
Sawan Subba – Men’s 60 kg
