SIMFED Chairman reviews Paljor Stadium preparations ahead of PM Modi’s Sikkim visit

In anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Sikkim on May 29, Chairman of Sikkim State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd. (SIMFED),Tenzing Dorjee Bhutia, carried out a detailed inspection of Paljor Stadium, the main venue for the event.

Bhutia, accompanied by key officials, reviewed the logistical arrangements and infrastructural setups being undertaken to welcome the Prime Minister. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that all preparations are carried out meticulously and on time to reflect the spirit and hospitality of the state.

He stated, “We are leaving no stone unturned to make sure the event is a grand success. Every aspect—from security to seating and stage arrangements—is being closely supervised.”
