The meeting, attended by Transport Ministers from all states and Union Territories across India, focused on key issues surrounding transport system improvements, safety measures, and infrastructure development throughout the country.
Sinchuri, speaking on behalf of Sikkim, outlined the state's efforts to promote transportation initiatives, highlighting the unique challenges posed by the region’s geographical features. He emphasized the difficulties in road safety and transport management due to the hilly terrain, which requires special attention in terms of infrastructure and maintenance.
