Pritam Rai secured 3rd place in the challenging 100 km JGMTR Mountain Trail Run held in Pune, Maharashtra. Despite facing multiple obstacles, including an ankle twist that caused severe pain, Rai powered through the grueling race with an unwavering spirit.

The event, set amidst the rugged Sahyadri hills, tested the limits of endurance as participants battled through suffocating humidity, extreme heat and an exhausting sleepless night. Rai, undeterred by his injury, embraced every step as a personal victory, pushing his body and mind to the limit in the face of adversity.

"I was in severe pain, but I knew I had to finish," Rai said after the race. "Every step was a struggle, but it felt like a personal triumph, and I’m incredibly proud to have made it to the finish line."

Rai expressed deep gratitude to Race Director Adinath Naik and Jay Govind for their continuous support throughout the race. "Their belief in me kept me going," he said. "I could not have done this without their encouragement."
