Sikkim has yet again brought glory to the state as Grand Master Trilok Subba, 8th Dan, added another gold medal to his remarkable collection at the Senior National Taekwondo Championship held in Cuttack, Orissa. On the final day of the championship, Grand Master Trilok Subba, along with teammates Master Rajen Subba and Pradeep Mukhia, won the gold medal in the under-60 male Team Poomsae event, showcasing their skill, dedication, and teamwork.

This victory comes on the heels of Grand Master Trilok’s earlier triumph in the Individual Poomsae event, where he had already secured a gold medal, setting a strong tone for Sikkim’s performance in the championship. With these wins, Grand Master Trilok Subba has now amassed an impressive total of 24 gold medals in National Championships, a testament to his enduring commitment to Taekwondo and his unmatched discipline.

The Senior National Championship was organized by India Taekwondo (IT), the national governing body affiliated with World Taekwondo (WT) and the Indian Olympic Association, and recognized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of India. The championship witnessed some of the finest Taekwondo talent from across the country, making the competition fierce and challenging.
