Sikkim's Bikram Thapa secures 2nd place at Kalimpong Ultra 90 Km Marathon
Organized by the Run with Roshni Foundation (RWRF), the Kalimpong Ultra Marathon started from Pedong, passing through Lava and Phaperkheti, before returning to Pedong for the finish line.

Bikram Thapa, an employee of the Physics Department at Sikkim University and a resident of Baha'i School Road, Tadong, secured the second position in the 90 km male open category of the third Kalimpong Ultra Marathon. Thapa completed the demanding course in 10 hours and 32 seconds.
Organized by the Run with Roshni Foundation (RWRF), the Kalimpong Ultra Marathon started from Pedong, passing through Lava and Phaperkheti, before returning to Pedong for the finish line. The event drew seasoned runners from across the country who braved challenging terrains and steep climbs.
In addition to his professional commitments, Thapa also serves as the coordinator of Project Life, a fitness movement promoting health and wellness across Sikkim, Darjeeling and Kalimpong.
After his podium finish, Thapa expressed gratitude to the Head of the Department of Physics at Sikkim University, faculty members and Project Life team members for their support and motivation.
Earlier this year, Thapa completed 160 km at the 24-hour Bengaluru Stadium Run held at Shree Kanteerava Stadium.
