Sikkim: Work underway to restore Rimbi-Timbrong road after Timbrong landslide

Area MLA and Minister Tshering T. Bhutia visited the site of a recent landslide that blocked the Rimbi-Timbrong road in Yuksam-Tashiding Constituency. Upon assessing the situation firsthand, the Minister immediately coordinated with the relevant departments to begin restoration efforts.

Bhutia stated the critical importance of reopening the road to ensure continued connectivity for the local residents. "The timely restoration of this road is vital for the smooth movement of people and goods in the region," he said assuring that all necessary resources and manpower would be mobilized to clear the debris and restore the route as quickly and safely as possible.
