Sikkim: Two minors reported missing from Namchi shelter home
According to the FIR, the minors were last seen leaving the premises at approximately 1:11 AM, as captured on CCTV footage.

Two minor girls, Rodha Hingmang (16) and Esha Manger (15) were reported missing from Manjusha Open Shelter Home in Namchi during the early hours of December 25. The incident was brought to light through an FIR filed by Tara Chettri, the coordinator of the shelter home.
According to the FIR, the minors were last seen leaving the premises at approximately 1:11 AM, as captured on CCTV footage. They were observed carrying some personal belongings. Despite immediate searches by the shelter staff in probable locations, the minors could not be located.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Esha Manger had been staying at the shelter for two months, while Rodha Hingmang had been admitted just two days before the incident. Authorities have initiated procedures under the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Tracing Missing Children.
Namchi police have registered the case under FIR 57/2024, dated December 25, 2024, under Section 137(2) of the BNS Act, 2023. Efforts are underway to ensure the safe recovery of the minors.
