The Indian Army's Trishakti Corps, under its flagship initiative Operation Sadbhavna, launched a National Integration Tour for students from Sikkim. The tour, aimed at fostering unity and national pride among the youth, was flagged off by the Governor of Sikkim, Om Prakash Mathur, at a formal ceremony held at Raj Bhawan in Gangtok.

This initiative is a significant step by the Indian Army to promote harmony and provide educational exposure to young minds. The tour is designed to give students a broader understanding of India’s rich cultural diversity and instill a sense of national unity.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Mathur commended the Indian Army for its efforts to strengthen the bonds of national integration. "This tour offers students a unique opportunity to experience the diversity of our great nation, helping them appreciate its unity in diversity," he said.

The National Integration Tour includes visits to historical landmarks, educational institutions, and cultural hubs in various parts of the country. These experiences are expected to inspire students and broaden their perspectives, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to society.
