Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has invited people to join the International Women’s Day 2025 celebrations, emphasizing the importance of recognizing women’s contributions to society. The event will be held under the theme “Re-Inventing Motherhood: Connecting Mothers Back to Their Childhood Hobbies & Interests.”

Highlighting the significance of the occasion, CM Tamang stated, “As we come together to honor the remarkable contributions of women in shaping our families, communities, and society, I extend a warm invitation to everyone to join the celebrations.”

The celebrations began with vibrant Block and District-level events, where mothers had the opportunity to reconnect with their passions through creative writing, performing arts, and art & craft. The festivities will now culminate in a grand State-Level Celebration at Saramsa Garden, Ranipool, on March 8, 2025.

The Chief Minister urged everyone to participate in the event, celebrating the strength, creativity, and resilience of women. “Your presence will make this occasion truly special,” he added.
