The State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) convened its quarterly meeting at the Ramada Hotel, Deorali, on February 13. Shri Goda Ravishankar, General Manager of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), chaired the meeting.

A highlight of the session was the felicitation of Dr. Raj Lama by the SLBC for receiving an honorary doctorate from Maryland State University, USA. This prestigious honor was awarded to Dr. Lama in recognition of his significant contributions to the development and growth of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in Sikkim and the broader Northeast region.
