Sikkim: Six students from Jorthang school to represent Sikkim at International Robotics & Coding League
The students were chosen after excelling in the school's internal coding league, where two students from each grade level—Lower Level (Grades 3-5), Middle Level (Grade 6-8), and Higher Secondary Level (Grades 9-12)—demonstrated remarkable skills in robotics and coding.

Six talented students from PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Jorthang, have been selected to participate in the prestigious International Robotics & Coding League, a national-level competition to be held on January 10th and 11th, 2025, at the Yamuna Complex in Delhi. The students, along with two accompanying teachers, will represent Sikkim at this highly anticipated event.
The students were chosen after excelling in the school's internal coding league, where two students from each grade level—Lower Level (Grades 3-5), Middle Level (Grade 6-8), and Higher Secondary Level (Grades 9-12)—demonstrated remarkable skills in robotics and coding. The competition aims to bring together young minds to showcase their technological prowess.
In a formal meeting held in New Delhi, the students and teachers were warmly received by Madan Sinchury, the Constituency MLA and Advisor. During the meeting, they made a humble request for housing facilities in Delhi to ease their participation in the event. They also expressed their desire to meet with the Hon’ble Chief Minister for support.
