In a bid to ensure compliance with labour laws, SDM Chungthang, Mr. Arun Chettri, along with Assistant Labour Commissioner, Mr. Karma Sonam T. Bhutia, conducted an inspection at the office of A K Builders in Lema, Lachung.
During the inspection, the officials thoroughly examined licenses, labour permits, and workplace conditions to assess the company’s adherence to legal requirements. Special attention was given to the hygiene and sanitation standards at the labour quarters to ensure the well-being of the workers.
Following the review, the project manager of A K Builders was instructed to strictly comply with the latest labour laws and submit a detailed compliance report.
