Sikkim: Sarathi 1.0 conducts refresher training for ASHA workers in Pakyong

Aligned with the vision of Chief Minister of Sikkim, Prem Singh Tamang, this initiative seeks to combat addiction and foster mental health awareness across the state.

Sarathi 1.0 organized a one-day refresher training for 25 Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) from Pakyong and Machong, focusing on the SARATHI 1.0 module. The training session was held at the RURBAN Community Complex and aimed to strengthen the capacity of health workers in addressing addiction and promoting mental well-being.

Aligned with the vision of Chief Minister of Sikkim, Prem Singh Tamang, this initiative seeks to combat addiction and foster mental health awareness across the state.

The training was facilitated by Dr. Kuljan Lama, Medical Officer of AYUSH at Pakyong PHC, and Madam Lassong Tamang, a retired Community Health Officer, who shared their expertise on community health strategies and effective interventions.

The event was graced by Zigmee Bhutia and Hari Rizal, President of the SARATHI Organisation for the East District, who commended the ASHA workers for their commitment to community service.
