The 76th Republic Day was marked by a grand “At Home” program at Raj Bhavan, hosted by the Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur. The event celebrated the state’s rich cultural heritage and patriotism, bringing together dignitaries, citizens, and cultural performers for a memorable evening.

Adding a significant dimension to the occasion, Governor Mathur and Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang jointly inaugurated a computer class for the children and staff of Raj Bhavan. This initiative, launched under the “Sabai Padhao, Sabai Badhao” campaign, reflects a progressive vision for education and skill development. It aims to empower individuals through technology and learning, fostering opportunities for growth and self-reliance.
