In a tribute, Gopal Chettri, President of SPCC conveyed his condolences to Dr. Singh’s family on behalf of the Congress family and the people of Sikkim.

His tenure as Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014 saw the implementation of key welfare programs, including the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), the Right to Information Act, and the National Food Security Act, all of which empowered millions of Indians.
