In a major step towards improving the organization and functionality of Namchi Kisan Market, the Namchi Municipal Council, under the leadership of Hon'ble MLA of 11-Namchi Singithang Constituency, Shree Satish Chandra Rai, has successfully initiated a system to streamline and segregate the vegetable vendors, organic cultivators, and other sellers at the market.

Their hands-on involvement reflected a strong commitment to creating a well-organized and supportive environment for the local vendors and cultivators. The presence of the Councillors highlighted the administration’s dedication to making the market more efficient and accessible.
As part of the initiative, village vegetable vendors were given special consideration, with the assurance that toll and garbage fees would not be imposed on them.
