Sikkim MP Indra Hang Subba joins PM Modi in filing NDA Vice Presidential nomination

Dr. Indra Hang Subba, Member of Parliament from Sikkim representing the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM), participated in a significant political event in New Delhi, joining the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, along with Union Ministers and other colleagues from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), during the nomination filing of the NDA’s candidate for the Vice Presidency, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan.
Dr. Subba expressed strong confidence in Shri Radhakrishnan’s abilities to serve the nation with distinction in the role of Vice President. He emphasized that Shri Radhakrishnan’s experience and leadership qualities would further strengthen the NDA’s unified vision and commitment toward national development and progress.
Speaking to local media, the Sikkim MP highlighted the importance of collective leadership in achieving the country’s socio-economic goals. “Shri Radhakrishnan has demonstrated a deep understanding of governance and public service. His election as Vice President will provide a renewed momentum to the NDA’s efforts for the welfare of the nation,” Dr. Subba said.
From a regional perspective, political analysts in Gangtok noted that Dr. Subba’s active involvement reflects SKM’s growing influence in national-level politics and underscores Sikkim’s voice in shaping key decisions at the central level. The move is expected to consolidate political support for the NDA in northeastern states and strengthen the party’s collaborative approach ahead of forthcoming national priorities.
