Sikkim’s Lok Sabha MP Indra Hang Subba said that skill development plays an important role in human development and inclusive growth during a session in Parliament. Speaking on the growing demand for skilled manpower due to technological advancements, he called for integrating skill development courses into the educational curriculum.
“Our education system has remained unchanged for decades. It is time we adapt to the needs of the future by including skill development in our curriculum,” Subba said.
He said that skill development is crucial for empowering individuals and creating a workforce capable of meeting the demands of a rapidly evolving economy.
