Sikkim: Missing children reported from Arithang, public help sought

The police have appealed to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of the missing children.

A missing persons alert has been issued by the Sikkim Police after two minor children were reported missing from the Arithang area on April 25, 2025. The incident has raised serious concern among the local community, and efforts are underway to locate the missing children at the earliest.

Following the report, a formal case has been registered at Sadar Police Station under Case No. 66/2025, dated April 26, 2025. The case has been filed under Section 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, which deals with missing persons and the necessary investigation procedures.

The police have appealed to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of the missing children. Citizens who may have seen the children or have any relevant information are urged to come forward immediately.
