Minister for Ecclesiastical, PHE, and Water Resources Department, Ven Sonam Lama, represented Sikkim at the All India Water Resources meeting held in Rajasthan. The high-level conference brought together policymakers and officials from across the nation to discuss pressing issues related to water conservation, sustainable management, and inter-state cooperation.
The meeting was chaired by C. R. Paatil, Hon’ble Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of India. Dignitaries in attendance included Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Minister of Rajasthan; Dr. Manik Saha, Chief Minister of Tripura; Dr. B. D. Mishra, Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh; and Mukesh Agnihotri, Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.
