Sikkim: Minister Raju Basnet inaugurates 10th All India Chief Minister Gold Cup Football Tournament at Jorethang

The 10th All India Chief Minister Gold Cup Football Tournament was officially inaugurated by the Hon'ble Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Raju Basnet, during the lively Jorethang Maghey Mela Celebration 2025. The tournament, organized by the Namchi District Football Association (NDFA), has become a major sporting event that adds excitement to the traditional Maghey Mela festivities.

The opening match saw Singling FC face off against ASUFII Manipur, with Singling Sporting Club emerging victorious in a thrilling 5-4 win. The match set the tone for what promises to be an action-packed tournament.
