Sikkim: Minister Arun Upreti visits traditional stalls at Maghey Sankranti Mela 2025

Minister for Rural Development and Cooperation Departments, Arun Kumar Upreti, graced the Maghey Sankranti Mela 2025 as the Chief Guest today. Before the day's cultural programme commenced, Upreti took a brief but insightful tour of the traditional stalls set up for the ongoing Mela celebrations, which highlight the rich cultural heritage of the region.
Accompanying the Minister were MLA and Chief Patron of the Maghey Sankranti Mela, Madan Cintury, along with other prominent figures including Youth President Lakpa Moktan, Youth Chairman Sahadev Sharma, PRO to HQ (SKM) Junu Chettri, General Secretary HQ (SKM) Pawan Gurung, General Secretary (SKM Student Riwaz Chettri, Vice President (Youth Wing) Naren Shestra and several other dignitaries from the community.
