Gangtok Police are investigating the death of Laku Tshering Sherpa, whose body was discovered inside his vehicle at Deorali Taxi Stand on January 1, 2025.

Following a medico-legal autopsy, the body was handed over to the family. The case, registered under FIR No. 01/2025, U/S 194 of the BNSS Act, 2023, remains under investigation.
