For the upcoming Jorethang Maghey Mela 2025, authorities are planning to offer helicopter joy-ride services to enhance accessibility for attendees. The initiative is being spearheaded by Shri Madan Cintury, the Hon’ble MLA of Zoom-Salghari Constituency, in collaboration with SDM Jorethang, local officers, and Mela Committee members.

As part of the preparations, two key locations have been identified as potential landing and take-off zones for the helicopter services: the IRB Ground and the JNV Playground. These sites were selected after careful consideration to ensure smooth operations and optimal safety during the event.

Pilots are scheduled to carry out final trial runs at these sites in the coming days to assess their suitability and confirm the feasibility of the service. Safety protocols will also be meticulously reviewed to ensure the well-being of passengers and staff.

This aerial service aims to provide a unique and convenient experience for attendees, making the Mela more accessible for people from different regions.
