Sikkim: Gram Sabha on Gram Panchayat Development Plan held in Chisopani GPU, Khamdong-Singtam Constituency

A Gram Sabha was held on 16th January 2025 at Lower Chisopani, near the Food Godown, to discuss and finalize the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) for Chisopani Gram Panchayat Unit (GPU) in the Khamdong-Singtam Constituency. The meeting was conducted under the direction of Hon’ble Minister-cum-Area MLA, Nar Bahadur Dahal.
The session saw active participation from key figures including BDO Khamdong, Dorjee Sherpa, Zilla Panchayat Member Suman Lamichaney, Panchayat President Navin Rai along with various Panchayat members. Representatives from the Roads and Bridges, Power, Forest and Health Departments also attended the event.
The Gram Sabha focused on addressing the pressing needs of the local community, with stakeholders providing valuable input to finalize the development plan.
