Sikkim gears up for 16th Finance Commission visit

Sikkim is all set to welcome the 16th Finance Commission, with preparations underway for the high-profile visit scheduled from 19th to 23rd January 2025. A review meeting was held at the Tashilling Secretariat conference hall, chaired by Mr. VB Pathak, Chief Administrator cum Cabinet Secretary, to assess the progress of arrangements.
The meeting was attended by key officials including Mr. R Telang, Chief Secretary, and Mr. Akshay Sachdeva, DGP, along with other senior government representatives. The discussion focused on finalizing logistics, ensuring security, and coordinating with various departments to ensure the smooth conduct of the visit.
