Sikkim: Four young footballers from Tashiding SSS selected for State Sports Academy Training
The selected students are Tenzing Namgyal Bhutia, Jigmee Namgyal Bhutia, Tenzing Tsepa Bhutia, and Tshering Bhutia.

Four young footballers from Tashiding Senior Secondary School (SSS) have been selected for training at the prestigious State Sports Academy, Palzor Stadium, Gangtok. This achievement has been welcomed with joy and appreciation, especially for the continued support of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) in promoting youth sports in Sikkim.
The selected students are Tenzing Namgyal Bhutia, Jigmee Namgyal Bhutia, Tenzing Tsepa Bhutia, and Tshering Bhutia. They will now have the opportunity to receive advanced training, which will help them improve their skills and pursue a future in football.
To celebrate their selection, Thupden Rinzing Bhutia, who is the Joint Secretary, Students Wing, State Level, Sikkim Krantikari Morcha Party (01 Yuksom-Tashiding Constituency), invited the young players to his residence. He hosted them for tea and also provided financial assistance to support them in their journey ahead.
Members of the Tashiding Football Association (TFA) also attended the event. They congratulated the students and encouraged them to work hard during their training. Thupden Rinzing Bhutia expressed confidence that these young footballers would bring pride to their school, their community, and the state of Sikkim through their dedication and performance.
