A delegation of 51 dynamic youths from Sikkim, accompanied by three escorts from the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, has arrived at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi to participate in the National Youth Festival 2024. The festival, which runs from January 10 to 12, is a significant platform for young leaders under the newly rebranded Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue.

Among the participants, 21 students, selected through a state-level PPT competition, will present their innovative ideas for a #ViksitBharat. Their presentations will focus on key themes like Technology, Sustainability, and Women Empowerment, addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi directly.

The festival will also feature vibrant competitions celebrating India’s cultural heritage, including folk dances, folk songs, and declamation contests. These competitions offer a unique opportunity for the youth to showcase their talents while engaging in meaningful dialogue about building a progressive and developed India.
