Sikkim declares public holiday for Akhil Sikkim Khas Chettri Bahun Kalyan Sangh’s foundation day

The Government of Sikkim has officially declared Akhil Sikkim Khas Chettri Bahun Kalyan Sangh's Foundation Day as a state government holiday. This decision, issued by the Home Department, will take effect from the year 2026 onwards.
As per the notification, the holiday will be observed in all government offices, public sector undertakings, and educational institutions across Sikkim. The notification was issued under the authority of the Governor and signed by R. Telang, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Sikkim.
