In a remarkable display of unity and initiative, the once-neglected Turuk to Sumbuk BAC road is undergoing significant repair, thanks to a collective effort spearheaded by local leaders, party members, and community residents. The initiative, driven by mounting concerns over the deteriorating state of the road, marks a new chapter in grassroots-level problem-solving.
Responding to the cries of the community, the Hon’ble Area MLA, along with the Block Development Officer (BDO), Zilla Panchayat representatives, and members of the Turuk Ramabong Panchayat, have come together to address the issue. Joining them are the CLC President, local party workers, and a host of dedicated citizens, all of whom are directly involved in the restoration work.
The repair effort is more than just a surface-level fix. It represents a significant step toward fostering local ownership and accountability. “This is our road, our responsibility. We’re not waiting — we’re doing,” remarked a local leader, emphasizing the importance of taking immediate action rather than waiting for bureaucratic intervention.
