On the auspicious occasion of the 34th Nepali Bhasha Samman Diwas 2025, Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Sikkimese community and all Nepali-speaking people across the world. Speaking on the significance of the day, he emphasized that it is not only a moment for historical remembrance but also a symbol of the collective struggle, continuous efforts, immense patience, and indomitable spirit of the Nepali-speaking community.

The Chief Minister highlighted that this day serves as a reminder of the sacrifices, struggles, and dedication of countless individuals who worked tirelessly to preserve and promote the Nepali language and culture. CM Tamang paid tribute to all pioneers, scholars, writers, leaders, and community members who actively participated in the language movement. He noted that their relentless determination and sacrifices were instrumental in ensuring the inclusion of the Nepali language in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution, earning it a prestigious place nationally and globally. “Their contributions will remain immortal in history and in the hearts of every Nepali speaker,” he said.
