Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on Tuesday extended congratulations to Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan on being elected as the new Vice President of India. The Chief Minister described his election to the high office as a reflection of his distinguished service and lifelong dedication to the nation.
In his message, Tamang said that Radhakrishnan’s elevation to the constitutional post is not only an honor for him personally but also a moment of pride for the people of the country. “Heartiest congratulations to Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan Ji on being elected as the Vice President of India. His elevation to this august office reflects his distinguished service, resolute commitment to public life, and steadfast dedication to the nation,” the Chief Minister said.
He further added that the people of Sikkim join the rest of the nation in wishing him success. Tamang noted that Radhakrishnan has had a long and respected career in public life, and his journey stands as an example of dedication and discipline. He expressed confidence that the Vice President will continue to uphold the values of parliamentary democracy with dignity and fairness.
