Sikkim CM invites Amit Shah to join Statehood Anniversary celebrations
The Chief Minister also took the opportunity to congratulate Amit Shah on the success of “Operation Sindoor”, the recent counter-terror mission launched following the Pahalgam terror attack.

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on May 22 met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and formally invited him to participate in the ongoing year-long celebrations of Sikkim’s 50th Statehood Anniversary. The Home Minister has accepted the invitation, the CM confirmed.
“As part of the ongoing celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Sikkim’s Statehood, I had the honour of meeting Hon’ble Minister of Home Affairs Shri Amit Shah Ji today in New Delhi. It was a moment of great pride to invite him on behalf of the people of Sikkim,” said Tamang.
The Chief Minister also took the opportunity to congratulate Amit Shah on the success of “Operation Sindoor”, the recent counter-terror mission launched following the Pahalgam terror attack. He said the operation “stands as a testament to our nation’s firm commitment to eradicating terrorism under the strong leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.”
Tamang expressed his gratitude to the Home Minister for his support, guidance, and continued encouragement towards the development and welfare of the people of Sikkim.
