Sikkim CM invited to attend Shrimad Bhagavat Mahapuran in Temi Namphing
The religious event, which began today at Shree Shree Sidhi Devi Mandir, Adarsh Gaon, will continue until April 6, 2025.

The President of the Temi Namphing Constituency Level Shrimad Bhagavat Mahapuran Organising Committee, Shri Gopal Chettri, along with CLC President Shri Phurba Tshering Bhutia, Kalyan Samaj President Shri Indra Prasad Chettri, and Government Contractor Shri Mahendra Gurung, visited the official residence of Sikkim Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang-Golay today to extend a formal invitation for the upcoming Shrimad Bhagavat Mahapuran.
The religious event, which began today at Shree Shree Sidhi Devi Mandir, Adarsh Gaon, will continue until April 6, 2025. The delegation personally met the Hon’ble Chief Minister, who graciously accepted the invitation and assured the organisers that he would attend the event on either April 4 or April 6, 2025.
The Shrimad Bhagavat Mahapuran holds immense religious and cultural significance for the local community, bringing together devotees and spiritual leaders for a week of sacred recitations, discourses, and devotional activities. The presence of the Chief Minister is expected to add to the grandeur of the event, further strengthening community participation and spiritual engagement in the region.
