18-year-old Anjali Adhikari from Pakyong district has had her dream of becoming a pilot fulfilled, thanks to the Chief Minister of Sikkim, Prem Singh Tamang. Expressing her gratitude, Anjali acknowledged the extraordinary support she had never imagined receiving.
The Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) government, under the leadership of CM Prem Singh Tamang, has brought significant improvements in education and healthcare. Just as underprivileged families receive healthcare benefits, the government has also been providing exceptional educational opportunities. Students from economically weaker backgrounds, who once struggled to pursue higher education due to financial constraints, are now able to achieve their dreams.
The SKM government has prioritized students who aspire to study but are forced to pause their education due to financial difficulties. CM PS Golay strongly believes that no student should have to give up their dreams due to economic hardship.
A shining example of this is Anjali Adhikari from Pakyong, East Sikkim, who lost her father at a young age. Despite her mother’s struggles to educate her up to Class 12, the cost of pilot training was beyond the family's means. Recognizing her potential, CM PS Golay stepped in as her guardian and made her dream of becoming a pilot a reality.
