Sikkim CM extends financial support to 150 beneficiaries, promotes inclusivity and hope

To empower and uplift the citizens of Sikkim, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang extended financial assistance to around 150 deserving individuals and said that this is important for inclusivity and hope for a brighter future.

The beneficiaries of this initiative include bright students aiming for higher education, aspiring entrepreneurs, and patients fighting health challenges. Through the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Grant, the Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Scheme, and the Chief Minister’s Education Assistance Scheme, CM Tamang personally handed over cheques to support their journeys.

During the event, CM Tamang expressed his deep sense of responsibility and commitment to the people of Sikkim, stating, “Our government firmly believes that every dream, regardless of background, deserves a chance to flourish. It is not just assistance we provide, but a message of hope, empowerment, and a reminder that we are united in their fight for a better tomorrow.”

The Chief Minister’s words resonated with the crowd, as he reiterated that the government’s efforts are not just about financial aid but about building a compassionate and inclusive society. “Together, we are creating an environment where no one is left behind,” he added.
