Sikkim CM congratulats Kuldip Chettri on being appointed Chairman of Sikkim Public Service Commission

Kuldip Chettri has been appointed as the Chairman of the Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC). The appointment was made by the Governor of Sikkim under Article 316(1) of the Constitution of India. He will serve for a tenure of six years or until he reaches the age of 62, whichever comes earlier.

Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang extended his heartfelt congratulations to Kuldip Chettri, recognizing his dedication, integrity, and commitment to transparency in public service. The Chief Minister stated, “His dedication, integrity, and commitment to upholding transparency and excellence in public service have been truly commendable.”

Expressing confidence in Chettri’s leadership, the Chief Minister further said, “With his vast experience and leadership qualities, I am confident that the Commission will continue to uphold the highest standards of a talent and excellence-driven framework, ensuring a bright future for aspiring candidates in Sikkim. His tenure as a member of the Commission has been marked by diligence and devotion, and I am sure his chairmanship will further strengthen its role in shaping a capable and competent workforce for the state.”

Kuldip Chettri, a retired Secretary in the Government of Sikkim, has previously served as a member of SPSC. His extensive experience in administration and governance is expected to further enhance the efficiency and credibility of the Commission.
