Sikkim bodybuilders leave for national trials ahead of World and Asian Championships

A team of bodybuilders and officials from Sikkim has left for Pune, Maharashtra, today to participate in the national trial selections for two major upcoming international events—the Asian Championship and the World Bodybuilding & Physique Championship 2025, scheduled to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, and Malaysia respectively.

Leading the team is Pema W. D. Bhutia, General Secretary of the Bodybuilders Association of Sikkim, accompanied by renowned International Judge Mrs. Tashi Ongmu Lepcha. Representing Sikkim in the trials are four promising athletes: Tenzing Deden Bhutia, Anita Chettri, Swarnim Rai and Norbu Bhutia.
