Sikkim BJP pushes demand for inclusion of 12 left out communities of Sikkim
State BJP President D.R. Thapa D.R. Thapa pushes for for inclusion of 12 left out communities of Sikkim into Scheduled Tribes category owing to their long pending demand and assurance given by the Prime Minister in this regard. It was apprised by the State BJP President D.R. Thapa to Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda during a meeting held today.
President has also submitted a memorandum for inclusion of 12 left out communities in the Scheduled Tribe category.
D.R. Thapa underscored the strive to fulfil the aspirations of the people of the State, while keeping in mind the unity and mutual cooperation being very significant to achieve the goal.
Union Minister Arjun Munda, after a fruitful discussion assured Mr. Thapa that the Ministry would extend all the support and cooperation required for the fulfilment of this demand.
