Sikkim basketball team to compete in under-23 National Championship in Guwahati

The Basketball Association of Sikkim (BAS) has announced that the Sikkim Under-23 basketball team will participate in the Under-23 National Basketball Championship, scheduled to be held in Guwahati from March 18 to 24, 2025. The announcement was made by BAS General Secretary Jigmela Wazilingpa.
The team will be led by Captain Tenzin Tsephel Wangyal and Vice-Captain Paljor Rilon Wangdi, alongside a strong lineup of players: Hishey Ngedup Wangyal, Riwong D. Bhutia, Gnoedrup D. Denzongpa, Sonam Wangyal Bhutia, Karma Gyaltsen Bhutia, Saamir Hang Subba, Chewang Norbu Lepcha, Pema Wongchen Bhutia, Hrishal Thapa Manger, and Sahil Rai. Sonam T. Barfungpa will serve as the head coach.
