Sikkim: 16th Finance Commission concludes Gangtok tour with MG Marg visit

The 16th Finance Commission, led by Chairman Dr. Arvind Panagariya, concluded its Gangtok District tour with a visit to the iconic MG Marg this evening. The visit marked the culmination of a day-long schedule of events in the district.

The delegates were warmly welcomed by Mayor Neel Chettri and Deputy Mayor Tshering Palden Bhutia, who were accompanied by Executive Councillor of Upper MG Marg Ward, Sundeep Malu, and other area councillors. Senior officials from the Home and Finance Departments, along with liaison officers, were also present during the visit.
