SICA Women’s Club Tournament 2025 (4th Edition) kicks off with grand inaugural ceremony

The 4th edition of the highly anticipated SICA Women’s Club Tournament 2025 officially kicked off today, promising a month-long celebration of women’s cricket in Sikkim. Organized by the Sikkim Cricket Association (SICA) with title sponsorship from the State Bank of Sikkim (SBS), the tournament marks a major milestone for women’s sports in the state.
This year’s edition of the tournament sees a record 14 teams, divided into two groups, competing in a T20 round-robin format. With a total of 45 matches scheduled over the course of 24 days, this edition is set to become the largest cricket competition ever held in Sikkim, surpassing even the men’s centralized tournaments in terms of match volume. The tournament will culminate with thrilling semi-finals and a grand finale, all set to take place at the Sikkim Cricket Ground, Mining.
